Every year , on the family reunion on the Thanksgiving Day, my mom makes it a point that we do our prayers before the feast. Most of the time , we said new hymns every year.
Few of the famous prayers that we used to say are:

Psalm 111

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into God's presence with singing!
Know that the Lord is God! It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

I have to buy gifts for my parents, cousin, nephew and niece and for my friends who are coming to the party on Thanksgiving. While I have decided to gift my cousins Autumn special serving dishes and candle centerpieces I am thinking of buying gourmet fruit basket for my parents. For my nephew and niece I am going to order crafts books and kid's story books. As for the friends I am not sure. May be cards and a small souvenier or may be a bag of nuts.
